Dear friends,
This year marks the 25th Anniversary of King’s Harmonica Quintet. We are pleased to collaborate with the Hong Kong Central Library to organize a sharing talk and demonstration session to review our 25 years experience as a unique amateur musician group in Hong Kong with some humble achievement, and to discuss the possible future development of harmonica music. We are honoured to have invited acclaimed pianist and educator Ms. Nancy Loo and famous radio producer Ms. Jenny Lee as our guest moderators. Renowned composers Mr. Hui Cheung-wai and Dr. Mui Kwong-chiu will join us at the second session to share their opinion and insight on the development of harmonica music based on their vast experience in harmonica composition. Good friends of us, including Dr. Poon Chung-keung (our founding member) , Herman Ho and Leo Ho will also be our guest performers to play with us some of the landmark music in the last 25 years. Some memorable video footage will be also broadcasted on screen.Detail of the talk and demonstration is as followed :
